NORFOLK – Northeast Community College held the first in a series of presentations for their “PBL Presents: Hawk Talks” speaker series on September 19.  Jeff Beals, an award-winning author, sales consultant and motivational speaker presented on self-marketing at Northeast Community College.

Hunter Bergman, PBL President, introduced Jeff and gave a brief bio on the speaker. “Self-Marketing Power” is Beals’s most popular presentation and is based on his award-winning book of the same name. The art of self-marketing can be a challenge for many individuals, and this presentation will help build a personal brand while achieving a balance between positive self-promotion and egotistical boasting. Beals has given this presentation more than 400 times in 30 states.

Beals serves as executive vice president of NAI NP Dodge Commercial Real Estate Company and co-hosts and produces a business talk show on 1110 KFAB radio in Omaha. He has been featured in Investors Business Daily, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Men’s Health magazine, the New York Times and others. His books include Self Marketing Power: Branding Yourself as a Business of One and Selling Saturdays: Blue Chip Sales Tips from College Football.
